[11] Description of your event: Northcrest Developments is excited to welcome the public to RUNWAY REELS: A Retro Outdoor Film Affair on the historic Downsview Airport Lands! Launching this June, this two-night event promises an unforgettable movie experience under the stars in partnership with Drag Me To The Movies and Inside Out 2SLGBTQ+ Film Festival.

Grab your family, friends and neighbours, bring your lawn chairs or come by car to enjoy an outdoor movie experience with the stunning backdrop of Toronto’s skyline. Our complimentary movie series will be hosted by Weird Alice, featuring special drag performances, captivating short films crafted by local artists, and beloved cult classic flicks.

Admission is free; Parking or Seating Stall reservation is required to ensure capacity limits.

2SLGBTQI+ Communities:

We have partnered with Drag Me To The Movies, Weird Alice and Inside Out Film Festival and are engaging local Drag Performers and DJs. This is a complimentary event to ensure barrier-free access. The selected movies (curated by Weird Alice) were selected in celebration of Pride Month, with the Inside Out Film Festival curating the short films in advance of the feature films.
