DITTO DAARK

Raised up from the testing streets of Rexdale to the vibrant beats of the global dance scene, DITTO DAARK has been on a sonic journey like no other. Born and bred in Brampton, and brewed in the juicy rhythms of Caribbean culture, DITTO's music is a testament to his Jamaican roots and his relentless pursuit of musical innovation.

With a style that defies boundaries, DITTO's usual sets are a whirlwind of Ghetto Bass, Baltimore Club, House/Techno, Jungle, and anything Afro-Caribbean, blending seamlessly to create an enticing experience that moves both body and spirit. His sets are about connection, he strives to activate waistlines while touching hearts.

DITTO's adventure through the music scene has been nothing short of expansive. From sharing the stage with Chicago legend DJ Heather to holding residencies with Toronto queer mainstays like SmokedTO, pop-up roller rink Suso Skate Co, and helping form the new rave startup Rents Due, he's left an indelible mark in a variety of communities. DITTO has performed for Fashion Art Toronto, Soho House, the ICFF, and at DOCD: Dark Matter, where he's brought his unique energy and charisma to captivated audiences.

But DITTO DAARK is more than just a DJ; he's a live wire behind the decks, a high-energy performer who's never afraid to fall to the waveform’s power, dancing and interacting with the crowd with infectious enthusiasm. His focus is to create and maintain safe spaces for Black & POC queers to express themselves fully, to let loose and cast it all to the skies.

Offstage, DITTO is a producer, sound technician and self-professed introvert, but once the music starts, he comes alive, drawing inspiration from his love of video games, literature, cinema, anime, and carefree sexual expression to craft sets that are as eclectic as they are irresistibly sweat-inducing.

As he continues to push the boundaries of sound and style, DITTO DAARK remains committed to his mission: to put forth music that transcends genres and unites people on the dance floor, one beat at a time.
